The Story Behind Financial Titans

How to Make Your Donation

We are a qualifying 501c3 non-profit, so all donations are tax-deductible, and we have 1101.01(a) Status and the CECFL designation (for eradicating childhood poverty), so we can accept your ENTIRE Act 22/60 mandatory donation (you’re not required to donate all of it to one charity, but we can accept it all if you choose). This is our Puerto Rico Certification of Tax Exemption and our Certificate of Good Standing. Our legal name is Illuminated Life School, INC., and we now work under the d.b.a Financial Titans.

You’ll receive an official letter/receipt to include with your Act 22/60 Exempt Annual Report within 5 business days of receiving your donation.

Act 60 Nonprofit Donation Requirements

Donation requirements are outlined in this government doc.

Here’s the English translation:

  • The grantee must annually contribute a minimum of $5,000 or $10,000 to nonprofit entities in Puerto Rico under Section 1101.01 of the Code, depending on the year the decree was issued.
  • Grantee with a $5,000 requirement, the donation can go to any nonprofit entity in Puerto Rico under Section 1101.01 of the Code by December 31st each year.
  • Grantee with a $10,000 requirement, a minimum of $5,000 of the contribution must be directed to nonprofits addressing child poverty (CECFL designation), as listed by the Special Joint Committee on Legislative Funds for Community Impact by December 31st each year.
  • The grantee is permitted to allocate 100% of the required amount to nonprofits on the committee’s CECFL list (the full $10,000).
  • Required contributions can not be allocated to charities controlled by the same person, their descendants, ascendants, spouses, or partners.
